There are changes to the forms IHT400, IHT421, IHT422, and two new IHT forms, IHT435 and IHT436 are being introduced for use on or after 6th April 2017.

Whilst carrying out the changes the application for reference form IHT422 is now just for IHT purposes; a new form IHT122 is being introduced in April for chargeable events.

- IHT400 – Inheritance Tax account
- IHT421 – Probate summary (Schedule IHT421)
- IHT422 – Application for an Inheritance Tax reference (Schedule IHT422)
- IHT435 – Claim for residence nil rate band (RNRB) (Schedule IHT435)
- IHT436 – Claim to transfer any unused residence nil rate band (RNRB) (Schedule IHT436)
- IHT122 - Application for an Inheritance Tax reference following a chargeable event (Schedule IHT122)
All amended and new Inheritance Tax forms will be available for use in FormEvo at the beginning of April in time for use from 6th April 2017.
