IPO Patent Forms – April 2017

The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) has carried out a small amendment to one of their forms.

The Patents Form 12 has been revised to reflect that customers no longer have to inform IPO on an annual basis if they want their renewal reminder letter sent to a different address to their registered address for service.

The new edition is for use from 6 April 2017.

Revised form is:-

  • Patents Form 12 - Payment of renewal fee (and additional fee for late payment) (Patents Act 1977 (Rule 36)
