Landlord and Tenant – Section 8 Notice – December 2016

New amendment regulations have been introduced which amend the Landlord and Tenant “Section 8 Notice” (the regulations are:- The Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) (Amendment No.2) Regulations 2016)
Amendments have been made to the section 8 notice (form LT33) to reflect the new ground for possession under section 8 of the Housing Act 1988. Ground 7B has been introduced by section 41 of the Immigration Act 2016. The new December edition of form LT33 comes into force on 1 December 2016.

• LT33 - Notice seeking possession of a property let on an assured tenancy or an assured agricultural occupancy (Housing Act 1988 Section 8 as amended by Housing Act 1996 section 151, section 97 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, and section 41 of the Immigration Act 2016) (Form 3) (England) [LTA3, HA32]

The new edition of the form LT33 will be available in FormEvo to use from 1 December 2016.
