The Legal Aid Agency has carried out amendments to a range of their crime forms following introduction of The Criminal Legal Aid (Standard Crime Contract) (Amendment) Regulations 2017.
New versions of these forms are for use from 1 April 2017.
We understand from the Legal Aid Agency that matters signed before 1 April should use the current versions of the forms. These must be sent to the Legal Aid Agency by 30 April to prevent rejection.
The amended Legal Aid forms are:-
- AF1 - Claim for Advocate Graduated Fees
- CRM2 – Application for advice and assistance
- CRM7 – Non-standard fee contract work assessment form
- LF3 Online - Interim Claims Online - to be completed for LGFS interim claims created online
- LF3 Offline – Interim Litigator Fee Claim
- LAC1 Notes - Guidance notes for Legal Aid committal form
